Bob started Gibbs Racing in 1956. He retired in 1980. Racing with heart and pure love of the sport. He is a huge part of Gibbs Racing today. His wisdom and knowledge are our biggest assets and the reason for our success! Bob Gibbs is a legend and a hero.  Thanks Bob!

Bob's First car, a 1937 ford coupe built by Bob and friend Bill Baker(North Norwich). They took turns driving. One night at Brookfield, Bill pulled in with five laps to go and said the car quit. After the race was over they went over to the car. It was still running.	1959 "The Checker Board Car"
